Job Description

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and Developing Core Components: Architect and implement scalable backend systems in Java to support API discovery, tracking, and management functionalities.
  2. Data Manipulation: Designing and optimizing processes to retrieve key information from unstructured data sources.
  3. Data Collection and Processing: Designing and building integration with 3rd parties such as GitHub, Bitbucket, cloud logs, API Gateways, and databases.
  4. Security and Compliance: Implementing robust security protocols for API data collection, storage, and transmission, adhering to industry standards for data protection.
  5. Performance Optimisation: Optimizing code and queries for high-volume data processing and low-latency API calls to ensure platform responsiveness.
  6. Automation and Testing: Write unit and integration tests for API and data processing components, contributing to CI/CD pipelines to ensure code quality and delivery speed.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, front-end developers, and product owners to align development with the solution's objectives and enhance product functionality.
  8. Documentation and Code Review: Documenting code, architecture, and processes, as well as participating in peer code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Job Qualifications

As a Senior Java Engineer, you need to have:

  1. At least 4 years of experience using Java 8 and above.
  2. Mastery of building backend services and API interactions and integrations.
  3. Experience using Spring Boot.
  4. Good knowledge of API security (JWT, OAuth, data encryption, etc.).
  5. Proficient in using NoSQL and Relational Databases.
  6. Experience deploying applications in the cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  7. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration.
  8. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

It's not required, but it would be great if you have knowledge of Swagger or OpenAPI.

Working Hours:
6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Philippine Time
