Product Specialist

We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our team.

The Product Specialist shall be responsible for key product areas within the PalawanPay platform. He/She is tasked to come up with core product requirements, have a working definition of success, and oversee its deployment and subsequent monitoring and improvement. The role will play an important part in developing product strategies and will require close collaboration with the rest of the Product team, business stakeholders, technical engineering teams, and end-users.

Work Setup: Hybrid

Location: Makati

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Product Manager to work together in defining product requirements, roadmaps, and development strategies.
  • Capturing and analyzing business feedback and demands as inputs for new feature or product recommendations.
  • Collaborating with engineering and design teams to translate business objectives into functional features.
  • Testing new features and products before production deployment.
  • Supporting product launches by coordinating with marketing, sales, and internal support teams.
  • Monitoring key product metrics and performance, making data-driven recommendations.
  • Presenting product related updates to the organization.
  • Staying up-to-date on fintech trends and competitor offerings to drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Product and Project Management or Business Analysis in IT, Business, or Finance related industries. Familiarity with the regulatory environment is a bonus.
  • Experience writing product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases, and business cases.
  • Excellent strategic and critical-thinking skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain strong customer relations and provide product support.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with fintech products (payments, remittances, fraud detection and AML compliance solutions, credit, APIs, and integration) is a plus.
