The Paid Social Media Specialist will be a key part of the Performance team, working on paid social campaigns for some of Australia's most exciting ecommerce brands. The Paid Media Specialist plays a crucial role in executing client campaigns to meet their goals and strategies. This position involves building and managing campaigns, conducting daily checks, and optimizing performance. The specialist is responsible for uploading new creative content and adjusting campaign elements as needed. They collaborate closely with senior team members to develop strategies, provide insights, and work with other departments to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution. Additionally, the specialist participates in meetings, offering regular reports and updates on campaign performance while staying informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance client campaigns.

What you'll do

1. Setup Paid Social campaigns across Meta/Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
2. Daily management and optimisation of campaigns to meet specific KPIs (MER, CAC, CPA, ROAS, CLTV) and budgets.
3. Refresh campaigns by uploading innovative creatives and tweaking elements when necessary.
4. Collaborate with other team members to identify new audiences, messaging, and creative concepts.
5. Guide designers (both internal and client-side) on creative requirements and add designs.
6. Contribute to channel-specific ad creative ideation, strategy, and testing.
7. Evaluate campaign performance and generate reports that support data-informed decision-making.
8. Engage in client sessions, delivering updates on campaign performance and improvements.
9. Stay ahead of the curve with the latest industry trends across digital channels.

What You Bring

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related fields. Any digital marketing certification will be a feather in your cap.
2. At least 4-5 years of experience in Meta / Facebook Ads, with any other platform a plus.
3. Prior in-house experience in the ecommerce realm.
4. Familiarity with platforms like Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce.
5. Solid grasp of ecommerce and digital marketing terminologies.
6. Basic experience with budget management across campaigns.
7. Proactive problem-solving aptitude paired with effective project management skills.
8. Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis.
9. A burning passion for mastering performance marketing and elevating ecommerce brands.
10. A team-player mentality with the drive to excel in a dynamic environment.
11. Stellar written and oral communication skills paired with adept time management.
