Job Summary:

The Counter Personnel is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders accurately, processing payments, and serving food and beverages in a courteous and efficient manner. They play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with orders.

  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to kitchen staff.

  • Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, or digital payments.

  • Issue receipts, manage order numbers, and ensure correct items are served.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter and dining area.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints.

  • Assist in packing takeout or delivery orders when needed.

  • Monitor stock levels at the counter (e.g., packaging, cups, condiments) and report shortages.

  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

  • Support other team members as needed during peak hours.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in customer service or food service is an advantage.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.

  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.

  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
