Minimum Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, or Finance.
• Fresh Grad / Entry Level specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.

Responsibilities

FactSet is a leader in providing research and analytical tools to finance professionals. FactSet offers instant access to accurate financial data and analytics around the world. FactSet clients combine hundreds of databases from industry-leading suppliers into a single powerful information system.

The Ownership group is comprised of multiple teams – (1) Financial Sponsors, (2) Holdings, and (3) Stakes. Collectively, the group aims to provide accurate, reliable quantitative financial market data while simultaneously pushing for continuous improvement on production, coverage, and timeliness to our internal and external clients.

Team Responsibilities

Financial Sponsors
The Financial Sponsor Team collects and maintains Institutional and Contact data for buy-side and sell-side firms. The team is responsible for keeping track of research analysts and investment personnel at these firms. They also provide research and concordance support for various datasets and collection processes owned by other groups.

Holdings
The Holdings Team collects and maintains Mutual Fund and ETF portfolio holdings for equities and fixed income securities worldwide from regulatory filings and fund reports. The Holdings group aims to ensure dynamic interaction between various teams for effective workflow and success.

Stakes
The Stakes Team collects shareholding information of directors, non-executive officers, beneficial holders, and fund managers of public companies globally. The calculation of float percentage is based on these holdings and signifies who controls the management of the company.

Job Responsibilities

As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collating, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process. You will analyze content sets by reviewing official updates from trusted sources, making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality. You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team's business goals by achieving your individual targets.

Financial Sponsors Responsibilities

• Manage the institutional/fund/contact coverage already in the database following established procedures.
• Identify new sources of information to increase coverage.
• Follow financial press and keep up with regulations.
• Integrate data quickly and qualitatively in strict accordance with established rules.

Holdings Responsibilities

• Manage Mutual Funds coverage in the database.
• Identify new sources of information to enhance coverage.
• Follow financial press and keep up with regulations.
• Integrate data quickly and qualitatively in strict accordance with established rules.

Stakes Responsibilities

• Maintain full coverage of stakes ownership.
• Process all disclosures of ownership changes daily.
• Keep coverage up to date with daily updates and periodic updates of ownership profiles.
• Analyze ownership data and describe it to clients.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Commerce / Business Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics or equivalent.
• Computer literacy with database and software for content/data processing.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Very good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in country coverage based on departmental needs.
• Enthusiastic with a strong sense of initiative.
• Good knowledge of Excel and ability to manipulate large spreadsheets.

Additional Notes

• No work experience required.
• Amenable to work in McKinley West, Taguig City.
• This position requires 100% onsite work during training; hybrid WFH setup available post-training.
