Pay range: Php 122,000 to Php 166,000

We are looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Manila-based Academic Technology team. As a core member of our infrastructure operations group, you'll help design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that support both our local and UK-based development teams. Your expertise will guide critical infrastructure projects, leveraging your deep knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes to support our transformation and innovation goals.

What will you do as a Cloud Solutions Architect?

As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the design and evolution of our cloud infrastructure. Working closely with our Head of Platform Operations and Senior Site Reliability Engineers, you will lead the design of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions to support our growing Academic platform. Your expertise will ensure alignment between infrastructure capabilities and business goals, and your guidance will be key in delivering high-impact technical solutions.

With a strong focus on AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices, you'll act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable designs that empower development teams in both Manila and the UK.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

1. Cloud, Infrastructure & Certification
   3+ years of hands-on experience designing cloud infrastructure, with a strong background in AWS services, cloud architecture best practices, and internetworking concepts (TCP/IP, load balancing, CDNs).
2. Proficiency in Linux-based systems.
3. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or willingness to obtain — we'll support you).
4. DevOps, Containers & Automation
   Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and tools from the DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) toolkit.
5. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices such as Agile or Scrum.
6. Problem-Solving, Communication & Collaboration
   Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
7. Strong communication and documentation skills.
8. Passion for collaboration, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
