Project-Based Civil Engineer
We are looking for a Project-Based Civil Engineer who will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, supervision, and monitoring of construction projects. The ideal candidate is a Licensed Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in cost estimation, site supervision, inspection, and construction monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor construction activities to ensure projects are completed according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections and assess project progress, workmanship, and compliance with construction requirements.
Prepare and review cost estimates, quantity take-offs, material requirements, and project-related documentation.
Read, interpret, and evaluate engineering plans, construction drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, project teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
Monitor the quality and progress of construction works and identify potential issues, delays, or discrepancies.
Assist in resolving technical and site-related concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC).
Proven experience in cost estimation and project supervision.
Experience in site inspection and construction monitoring.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans, construction drawings, and specifications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work on various project sites.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work in a project-based environment.
