HR Generalist

1. RECRUITMENT (Primary)
a. General Tasks:
- In charge of monitoring manpower needs through submitted Personnel Requisition Sheet (PRS) and drafts Job Descriptions as may be necessary; must be aware of all existing vacancies (whether actual or imminent, based on department recommendation or watchlist);
- Plans and executes hiring programs and special recruitment activities; attends job fairs and recruitment events; conducts company scheduled recruitment days; conducts special recruitment meetings with targeted individuals; visit DOLE/PESO offices; mans online recruitment portals (hrd email, facebook, jobstreet, mynimo, etc.) and social media accounts; receives walk-in or referred applicants;
- Assist applicants in filling up Personnel Information Sheet (PIS) using Applicant Processing System (including OJTs); conducts pre-employment exams and/or trade test and evaluates results of applicants;
- In charge of screening of qualified applicants from the resumes accepted and contacting qualified applicants for further assessment and interviews; responsible for conducting initial interview; facilitates applicant's files for assessment/final interview of Department Heads; prepares and routes applicant's files for final acceptance; updates the Applicant Processing System;
- Assists and coordinates with other members of the HRD.
2. ONBOARDING (Secondary)
a. General Tasks:
- Receives final acceptance form of hired applicants and issues list of requirements for them to comply; ensures the completeness of their pre-employment requirements; complete the registration of new employees as regards SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig, TIN, and 201 files of new hires, and submits a copy to the Accounting Department, to facilitate their payroll and to avoid them being tagged as Voucher Employees; in charge of preparing all employment records such as contracts, endorsement, job descriptions, KPIs, etc.;
- Conducts pre-employment, ISO and onboarding orientation for newly hired employees (and also OJTs); issues ID/uniforms and maintains ID/Uniform Logbook and inventory (Uniform Withdrawal Report); responsible for biometric registration and ATM application of new hires; registers new employees for personal accident insurance (if applicable); endorses newly hired employees to designated departments with proper documentation;
- Makes sure our staffhouses are in good condition, and tenants are aware of the terms and conditions of staying in the staffhouse; maintains Staff House Logbook for employees housed in company staffhouses in coordination with Benefits team;
- Responsible for ensuring the completeness and the filing of 201 files; updates the HRD Masterlist System and ensures its accuracy (all employees and OJTs must be encoded); conducts monthly reconciliation of HRD Masterlist System with Accounting Masterlist; issues Manpower Action Notice (MAN) for changes in position and updates the Masterlist system; maintains and updates Sustainable Technical Employees List (list of registered and licensed engineers / professionals of the company);
- Assists and coordinates with other members of the HRD.
