About the Position

We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our growing global Marketing team You'll reinforce the team in driving brand awareness and engagement across corporate social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and TikTok. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your copywriting skills to execute impactful strategies.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Create, manage and post regular content and messaging for AvePoint corporate social media channels
  • Manage our employee social media advocacy platform
  • Stay up to date with social media trends and current best practices
  • Track and report social media analytics as required
  • Demonstrate excellent judgment in determining content for posting
  • Assist other areas of AvePoint in their social media efforts by overseeing accounts in various departments and groups within the company as assigned
  • Communicate virtually and in-person with people at all levels of AvePoint to discuss their social media needs and requests
  • Communicate and collaborate with AvePoint colleagues and industry influencers who assist in generating social media content.
  • Respond to comments as required and report any problems or negative social interactions immediately

Technical requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a social media specialist
  • Executive social media account management experience is highly desirable
  • Experience working in B2B or technology space preferred but not required
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience with social media management tools, ideally Sprout Social, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok

Other requirements:

  • Proven success as an individual contributor and project coordinator in a highly collaborative global team
  • Self-starter and highly organized; can work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Embodies agility, passion, and teamwork – and able to articulate how
