About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Carmona, Cavite. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and managing the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and efficient financial record keeping
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support business decision-making
  • Overseeing the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assisting with the preparation of audit schedules and supporting external audits

What we're looking for

  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial accounting role, preferably within the financial accounting and reporting industry
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
