Your Role
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders on new requirements.
  • Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
  • Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
  • Design program specifications aligning to coding best practices for efficient system performance.
  • Perform program coding and testing, JIRA/Confluence updates.
  • User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set-up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.
  • Supports project deployment activities and post implementation monitoring.
  • Supports production issue investigation and resolution whenever need arises.
Your Profile
  • Over 8+ years of experience as a Mainframe Designer/Developer delivering complex solutions possessing strong analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience on Mainframe technologies.
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Mainframe tools like Changeman, Easytrieve, REXX, SAS, ABEND AID, FileAid, Endeavor, Expeditor.
  • Candidate should be able to work within/across the teams to guide or provide inputs to the Junior MF Developers, Testers, Business Analysts.
  • Should possess excellent problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills, should be proactive in providing solutions.
  • Has experience on the below tech stacks: Coding – COBOL, Source Code and Release Management - ENDEVOR, Execution - JCL (Job Control Language), Interface - CICS, Web services on MF, Database - IMS.
  • Experience in the Capital Markets domain and Agile Methodology will be an added advantage.
