IT Director

We are looking for a visionary and hands-on leader to oversee AVD, network, and voice technologies. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring seamless user experiences, high system availability, and operational excellence across virtual desktop infrastructure, voice platforms, and network services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the roadmap for infrastructure services, aligning with business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

• Partner with global and regional IT leaders to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions.

• Lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.

• Drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies across the virtual desktop landscape.

• Manage the strategy, deployment, and ongoing support of the Genesys Cloud voice platform.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to enhance and streamline the customer experience.

• Oversee the design, security, and operation of enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi.

• Lead network modernization initiatives with a strong focus on performance, resilience, and uptime.

• Direct day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, incident and change management, and capacity planning.

• Ensure IT service delivery meets or exceeds SLAs and compliance standards, with minimal disruption to business operations.

• Lead operational risk management and develop business continuity plans for infrastructure services.

• Oversee the full lifecycle management of IT infrastructure assets.

• Implement and maintain endpoint security, patching, and configuration management standards.

• Drive initiatives to improve end-user productivity through device standardization, self-service tools, and automation.

• Manage IT support teams to ensure timely, effective resolution of technical issues.

• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional infrastructure and support teams.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

• Serve as the escalation point for critical incidents and major operational challenges.
  

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may substitute for formal education.

• 15+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.

• Proven expertise in:

  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and cloud-based desktop solutions

  • Genesys Cloud voice platforms

  • Network architecture, design, and operations

  • IT operations frameworks such as ITIL, ServiceNow, and enterprise monitoring tools

• Demonstrated success leading IT teams in high-availability, customer-centric environments (e.g., BPO, telecommunications, or large enterprises).

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building capabilities.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, Genesys) are highly desirable.
