Officer - Settlements Reference Data Services Analyst 1 - APAC & EMEA - Hybrid (Start ASAP)

Join Citi as a Reference Data Services Analyst 1, supporting data remediation and client data authentication in a dynamic global environment.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Authenticating and remediating client data using multiple external and internal Citi systems.
- Liaising with internal Citi teams and external clients globally to ensure data quality remediation.
- Providing high-level customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Assessing risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and Citi policies.
- Applying sound ethical judgment and escalating control issues transparently.
- Performing Maker (1st level) processing with training on Checker (2nd level) review to follow.
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing, including occasional weekend release testing as part of a team.
- Working APAC shift (9 am to 6 pm) after a 1-year training period on EMEA shift (4 pm to 1 am).
The company is looking for:
- 0-2 years of working experience.
- Knowledge of various data remediation work streams and projects.
- Experience maintaining client static data within a capital markets environment.
- Ownership and accountability for allocated work.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues.
- Financial services-related qualifications.
- Knowledge of SSI (Standard Settlement Instruction) and SWIFT messages.
- University degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- High standard of English verbal and written skills.
- One-year training during the EMEA shift (4 pm to 1 am) before transitioning to the APAC shift.
- Training on Checker (2nd level) review following Maker (1st level) processing.
