Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for data communication.
  • Develop and manage network architecture, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-based networks.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPN tunnels, and network security protocols.
  • Implement and support Citrix NetScaler and Zscaler solutions.
  • Design and deploy AWS and Azure cloud network solutions.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and network management tasks.
  • Plan and execute the design and implementation of new and existing networks.
  • Perform integration work to ensure seamless connectivity and interoperability.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers.
  • Document network designs, configurations, and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or commensurate experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Citrix Certified Professional).
  • Extensive experience in network architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proficiency with firewall configuration and management.
  • Experience with VPN tunneling and secure remote access solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix NetScaler and Zscaler technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for network automation.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Extensive experience with Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop.
  • Proficiency in managing Citrix Cloud environments.
  • Experience with Citrix Profile Management and Citrix Provisioning Services.
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix Director for monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Experience with Citrix StoreFront and Citrix Gateway configurations.
  • Proven track record of optimizing Citrix environments for performance and security.
  • In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies, including stateful inspection, packet filtering, and next-generation firewalls (NGFW).
  • Experience with configuring and managing firewalls from vendors such as Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, and Check Point.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing firewall rules, policies, and threat detection mechanisms.
  • Experience with conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments on firewall configurations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving firewall-related issues.
  • Extensive experience with VPN technologies, including site-to-site and remote access VPNs.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing VPN solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet.
  • Strong understanding of VPN protocols (e.g., IPsec, SSL/TLS, L2TP).
  • Experience with monitoring and optimizing VPN performance.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex VPN-related issues.
