About the Role
Our client is looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Manager to take end-to-end ownership of Decolure’s DTC paid acquisition and commercial performance, with a focus on building the Shopify channel into a profitable and scalable growth engine.

This is a high-ownership role where you will be responsible for Meta and Google Ads, budget allocation, performance testing, measurement, creative direction, and the overall economics behind growth. Rather than simply managing ad spend, you will be expected to understand the numbers, identify what is and is not working, and determine when to scale, hold, or cut spend.
Company Overview
Decolure, owned by Ecotero LLC, which also operates brands such as Sleephoria, is a U.S.-based e-commerce company generating $18M+ annually through Amazon, with a growing presence on TikTok Shop and Shopify DTC. The business operates five private-label brands with 20+ active products, 100+ live product variations, and 700+ cost SKUs, and continues to expand its product portfolio and sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • The paid acquisition P&L for Decolure DTC. Contribution after cost of goods, freight, shipping, payment fees and returns is the number you are accountable for. Platform return on ad spend is a diagnostic, not a result.

  • Account and campaign architecture, audience strategy, bidding approach, budget pacing and daily allocation across Meta and Google. You own the case for adding any new channel.

  • The growth ladder. What spend level we operate at, what has to be true to move to the next one, and what would move us back down. You write it, you defend it, and you update it monthly.

  • Measurement quality. Server side tracking, reconciliation between platform and store data, and reporting that separates what a platform claims from what the business actually earned.

  • The testing system. Pre-stated hypotheses, sample requirements, decision rules and kill criteria, run at a cadence the current spend level can actually support and designed for a much higher one.

  • Creative direction for paid, in partnership with the creative producer. Concept briefs, hook strategy, testing priorities, winner development and fatigue detection. Creative is the primary lever in this category and it is treated that way here.

  • Audience and competitor definition. We want to say precisely who we are bringing to the site and how we differ from the brands we compete with. Today we can say neither with enough confidence. Incrementality work: geo holdouts, spend down tests and branded search cannibalisation checks, sized honestly for the traffic we actually have, and acted on.

  • A weekly commercial view: what happened, what it means, what decision you need, and what you are doing next.

  • Budget grows with evidence. Every step up in spend is authorised against contribution performance at the previous step. We say that plainly because the alternative is hiring someone who expects a large budget on day one and finds out in week two. What we offer instead is a written ladder: show the economics hold and the budget moves, and you will not have to argue for it twice.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven DTC paid media ownership: You have personally governed at least USD 30,000 per month in paid media spend for a direct-to-consumer ecommerce business for six months or more.

  • Demonstrated growth ownership: You have personally led a genuine DTC growth step, including either at least 3x monthly revenue growth within 12 months or growing a store from under USD 50,000 to over USD 150,000 in monthly revenue, while accountable for contribution or blended efficiency.

  • Advanced hands on Meta Ads and Google Ads: account architecture, pacing, testing, attribution limits and performance diagnosis, in the current platform environment rather than the one from three years ago.

  • Financial literacy that survives a live test. You can derive break even blended efficiency and a customer acquisition cost ceiling from a full cost stack, without notes. We will ask you to do exactly that.

  • The difference between average and marginal efficiency, and why an account can show an acceptable blended return while the last
