To support the growing administrative needs and enhance overall efficiency of the Salvage Recovery Unit.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  1. Follows subrogation process of Salvage Recovery Unit.
  2. Evaluates completeness and accuracy of documentary evidence.
  3. Reviews claim files to identify, evaluate, analyze, and interpret potential subrogation.
  4. Coordinates appropriate steps to secure evidence and ensure pursuit, development, and recovery of claims.
  5. Negotiates settlements with other insurance companies, attorneys or directly with the claimant as appropriate.
  6. Prepares and sends demand letters on a regular basis.
  7. Recovers all necessary third party related claims.
  8. Reviews and negotiates third party claims to Pioneer.
  9. Follows up with adverse third party/insurance companies for the collection of recoverable accounts through regular and timely phone calls, visits, and collection letters.
  10. Collaborates with claims adjusters, attorneys, and other relevant parties to resolve subrogation cases efficiently.
  11. Develops, maintains, produces, administers, and distributes accurate and complete subrogation reports on a monthly and/or as directed basis.
  12. Provides SRU head with regular updates and status reports on subrogation files.
  13. Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to subrogation investigations.
  14. Participates in department's action planning and implementation.
  15. Performs other duties as necessary in meeting the objectives/mission of the department and/or as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate of a bachelor's degree course or any 2-year course
  2. With at least 1 year experience in Non-Life Insurance Industry
  3. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
