Your Role:

As a Senior QA Tester, you will be tasked with:

  • Data Mapping: Understand current data mappings, identify gaps, and propose improvements to better support us for commercial lending.
  • Platform Validation: Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand feature requirements and acceptance criteria. Execute comprehensive testing to ensure features meet specified requirements and function as intended within the platform.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Integration Support: Support integrations with lenders and data mapping to ensure seamless interoperability.

What You Need:
Non-negotiables:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, focusing on business testing and data mapping. Automation testing experience is preferred.
  • API Testing: Experience in API testing and in using any programming languages (required).
  • Domain: Familiarity with commercial lending or financial services is a benefit.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Azure DevOps or similar tools for test management and tracking. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to identify issues and ensure thorough testing.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex problems related to software functionality, data structures, and integrations.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and requirements.

Preferred Skills/Expertise:

  • Experience in test automation.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
