Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure solutions. As an IT Infrastructure Consultant, you will collaborate with team members, including cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand their IT needs, deliver customized solutions, and ensure the optimal performance, security, and scalability of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:


• Consulting and Solution Design:

  • Analyze client requirements and provide strategic advice on IT infrastructure needs.
  • Design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure, cloud environments, servers, storage, and other critical IT systems.
  • Develop IT strategies to support business goals, improve performance, and reduce costs.


• Implementation and Integration:

  • Oversee the deployment and integration of IT infrastructure solutions (hardware, software, network services).
  • Ensure all systems meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
  • Manage infrastructure migration, including cloud-based solutions, on-premise systems, or hybrid environments.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project progress and challenges.


• Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including training and troubleshooting.


• Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure that all infrastructure solutions meet security and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor the performance of infrastructure systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Implement tools to measure and report on infrastructure performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management and consulting.
  • Proven experience with designing and implementing scalable IT infrastructure solutions (network, server, storage, cloud).
  • Experience with virtualization, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and networking protocols.
  • Certifications is a Plus:
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.
  • Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN), server and storage systems, and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and practices (firewalls, encryption, VPN, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
