The function is accountable for managing the following areas:

  • Meet or exceed STED requirements by (a) planning and prioritizing; (b) partnering with SMEs, Business Unit counterparts, and within/across teams in REPH, as appropriate; (c) delivering accurate, complete, and timely results.

Copy-edit material to ensure it meets jurisdictional standards for accuracy and style (spelling, grammar, coherence, style consistency).

Analyze and mark-up material to prepare for output (tagging or tagging clean-up as required, marking-up pages).

Proofread material to verify copy-editing tasks and other mark-ups (verifying changes made to electronic files, formatting, and ensuring input has been made correctly).

Submit proofs whenever necessary for review (communicating any queries to SMEs/BU counterparts; providing time and standards for review; inputting final corrections).

Create note enhancements following jurisdictional standards for accuracy, efficiency, and style.

Deliver high-quality work that meets or exceeds internal standards. Identify patterns in errors through root cause analysis and address quality/process issues across jurisdictions, products, and systems.

Adhere to production, tracking, and scheduling using existing scheduling systems, and follow communication best practices. Recognize potential errors or roadblocks. Identify process opportunities and take action to remediate problems and improve processes.

View projects and tasks considering production timelines and team/department priorities; follow through in a timely manner. Escalate challenges related to resource and production demands.

Support team decisions, foster a collaborative team atmosphere, and assist colleagues with production needs to promote work/life balance. Share knowledge and expertise, mentor, and proactively address knowledge gaps to build competence within the team and department.

Become EDEN certified as required by product responsibilities and within the specified timeframe; gain access to and navigate LN platforms and media (Lexis Advance, Lexis+, eBook, CD, etc.).
