Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or related business course.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Residing in Laguna, preferably San Pedro Laguna.
  • Willing to work in San Pedro Laguna.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting
  • Manage the recording, discussion, and analysis of the company's financial statements, including statements of financial position, comprehensive income, changes in equity, and cash flows.
  • Inspect the accuracy and reliability of all accounting books, transaction records, and reports.
  • Summarize transactions into financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Present clear and reader-friendly financial reports periodically or upon request by top management.
  • Manage the creation, collection, and archiving of financial records and statements.
  • Tax Management:
  • Handle computation and payment of taxes to BIR and LGUs.
  • Manage the company's electronic tax filing and payment system.
  • Recommend programs to ensure compliance with tax requirements and policies of agencies like the Supreme Court, Court of Tax Appeals, BIR, and LGUs.
  • Prepare and submit regular accounting reports as required by BSP and other agencies.
  • Research the latest accounting regulations, circulars, and memoranda issued by BSP and incorporate updates into practice.
  • Participate in strategic and operational planning activities.
  • Contribute to business process improvements and documentation.
  • Perform other functions as directed by management.
