The QA Tester will support Controllership group in the execution of test case writing and test execution.

Responsibilities:

  1. Write and execute test scripts for core banking system functionalities, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
  2. Validate accounting-related transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in general ledger postings.
  3. Perform end-to-end testing of loan processing, deposits, payments, and reconciliation functions.
  4. Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers and business analysts for resolution.
  5. Execute test cases for financial reporting and ensure proper integration with accounting modules.
  6. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist stakeholders in verifying financial data integrity.
  7. Ensure adherence to banking compliance standards and internal controls during testing.
  8. Work under the guidance of the Accounting Head to align testing with financial accuracy requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. With at least 4 years experience.
  2. Preferably with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  3. Experience in testing core banking systems, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  4. Ability to write and execute test scripts for financial transactions and reporting.
  5. Familiarity with financial transactions, general ledger, and reconciliation processes.
  6. Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking systems.
  7. Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  8. Amenable for a 1 Year Contract.
