Our client, a leading retail company based in BGC, Taguig, is seeking an experienced HR Manager - Employee Relations to oversee employee relations functions and maintain a positive work environment. This key role involves addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering productive relationships between employees and management. Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations Management:
    • Oversee and manage the company's employee relations programs, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
    • Act as the point of contact for employee concerns and grievances, facilitating conflict resolution in line with company policies and labor laws.
  • Policy Development & Compliance:
    • Develop, implement, and regularly update company policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry best practices.
    • Ensure employees and managers are informed and aligned with company policies, particularly in areas such as conduct, discipline, and grievance procedures.
  • Employee Engagement & Satisfaction:
    • Develop programs to promote employee engagement and ensure employees are motivated and satisfied with their workplace experience.
    • Track employee satisfaction and recommend improvements to enhance retention and workplace morale.
  • Employee Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between management and employees, ensuring open communication channels and that employee feedback is acted upon appropriately.
    • Organize and facilitate employee forums or focus groups to gather feedback and improve employee relations.
  • Training & Guidance:
    • Provide training and development to managers and employees on conflict management, employee conduct, and compliance with internal policies and labor laws.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of all employee relations cases, conduct regular audits, and prepare reports for senior management to ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations with a focus on conflict resolution, labor law compliance, and policy enforcement.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and experience ensuring compliance within an organization.
  • Excellent mediation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex employee issues.
  • Ability to maintain a neutral, fair, and effective approach in managing employee relations matters.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with HRIS and Employee Relations Management Systems (ERMS).
  • Familiarity with employee engagement surveys and well-being initiatives.
  • Retail industry experience is highly preferred, especially in managing high-volume workforces.
