Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our growing medical billing company. This role is ideal for candidates with prior IT support experience who can confidently troubleshoot, resolve issues independently, and contribute to the stability and efficiency of our systems and infrastructure. You will be the go-to resource for technical support across the organization and play a key role in maintaining our day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level and mid-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights
  • Monitor system performance and escalate outages or security issues appropriately
  • Maintain and update inventory of IT assets and accessories
  • Deliver timely support through phone, chat, remote access, or ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT personnel
  • Create and maintain documentation such as support logs, user guides, and FAQs
  • Perform routine updates, data backups, and system maintenance on workstations
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Technical/Vocational Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic network issues
  • Experience supporting users in a corporate or BPO/healthcare setting is an advantage
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools, email systems, and file transfer protocols
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests
  • Willing to learn proprietary or industry-specific software (e.g., medical billing systems)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and supporting night shift operations
  • Strong English communications skills

Preferred but not required:

  • Working knowledge of Remote Desktop, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, healthcare IT systems, or EMR/EHR platforms
  • Basic understanding of printers, VoIP systems, VPNs, and cloud-based applications

Work Setup and Location:

  • Onsite during the probationary period
  • Hybrid setup available after 1 year
  • Office is located at Shaw, Mandaluyong
