This is a remote position.

We have an exciting opportunity for a US Accountant at Pharmavise.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various financial and administrative tasks, including invoicing, payroll, expense management, and tax preparation. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is essential, along with a thorough understanding of US tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing and Payments:

  • Generate and send invoices to clients via SAP Ariba and QuickBooks.
  • Review and approve invoices from internal and external contractors.
  • Execute accurate and timely processing of payroll on Wise and QuickBooks.
  • Oversee invoicing, collections, and payments to vendors, maintaining accurate records and accounts receivable/payable.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information.
Contract Management:
  • Review and sign off on employment contracts.
Attendance and Expense Management:
  • Monitor team attendance and time logs.
  • Cross-check attendance with invoices.
QuickBooks Management:
  • Create and send invoices via QuickBooks.
  • Set up, monitor, and manage bills in QuickBooks.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation for five accounts in QuickBooks.
  • Manage the setup of new employees in QuickBooks for onboarding.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly reconciliation reports and financial statements including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform monthly categorizations for five accounts.
  • Conduct balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations.
  • Review and approve expenses.
Tax Preparation:
  • Manage tax-related activities, including the preparation and filing of USA 1040 and 1120S and ensuring adherence to tax regulations, especially with the federal, state, and local financial legal requirements of the United States.
Salary Calculator Management:
  • Manage, develop, and improve the salary calculator.
What we're looking for:
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferred: CPA License.
  • 1-4 years of proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a Life Sciences Consulting or Staffing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of USA accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP Ariba, and Wise).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including report production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.
Other Details:
  • Full-time – 6:30 AM EST to 2:30 PM EST.
  • 6 months contract – 1 month probation to start.
  • Fully Remote, must be living in India or Philippines.
  • Monthly Rate: $450-$550 for 1 month probation (increase to $500-600 with bonuses).
