JOB DESCRIPTION
A Quantity Surveyor (MEPFS) is responsible for assessing project costs, preparing tender paperwork, and negotiating contracts. Coordinate with site engineers, evaluate the completed job and provide reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on tender drawing & Specification includes all works.
- Proficiency in taking Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Sanitary and Fire Protection trade measurements.
- Coordination of the review of draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tenders are included.
- Facilitate the project team's requirements to all construction phases – From Inception to Completion.
- Regular update of the market price on various trades to be recorded in the company's cost library.
- Corresponding with Consultants/Authorities regarding the specification/technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raise queries for clarification.
- Preparation of tender pre-qualification item, List of Sub Contractor/Supplier, Cash Flow Chart, Machinery.
- Coordination with planning, procurement, finance and administration cell for necessary documents required for the submission.
- Full assistance on contract documentations/recording and other related matters required by the QS Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
- Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam) is a must.
- Minimum two (2) to 5 years' experience in the same capacity and in quantity surveying and techniques.
- Knowledgeable in outline specs, building systems, construction methodologies and commercial fit outs.
- Strong attention to details, excellent presentation skills, and negotiation capabilities.
- Knowledge in MEPFS works and familiar with the design standards and codes.
- Knowledgeable in CAD, MS Office, Plan swift.
- Full-time position available.
- Can start as soon as possible.
