What You'll Do:

Looking for an opportunity to be a part of a highly technical team of skilled employees focusing on all aspects of the Network and Security infrastructure supporting our global presence? You'll have operational responsibility to support the Network and Security technology verticals, including Implementation and Operational support. You'll manage the ongoing operations of all the company's Security Infrastructure elements, including firewalls, IPS, web proxies, switches, routing, and VPN devices.

You'll optimize the performance and availability of secure network and end-user infrastructures through the application of best practices such as troubleshooting, maintenance, new client implementations, performance monitoring, and recommend appropriate course of actions and methodologies to achieve success. You'll mentor more junior employees; help develop the latest in network topologies and advance our network and security to the next level.

You'll report to the network and edge security sustainment service managers ensuring that TTEC networks are the backbone of our operations, and the secure boundary of our company.

During a Typical Day, You'll:

  1. Monitor vendor interaction with the company's network and edge services/devices; identify issues and provide guidance/support through to resolution. Ensure the timely delivery of required services.
  2. Maintain liaison with equipment manufacturers' and other vendors' support teams to ensure satisfactory support levels and resolution of issues.
  3. Assist in maintaining and implementing company's technology operations, including goals, priorities, and policies relating to company's information and compliance management.
  4. Manage the ongoing support and configuration of all elements of the company's data network, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, proxy, and circuits inventory.
  5. Lead technical support staff in maintaining efficient operation of the company's information and communication systems.
  6. Implement and maintain data network devices to provide for the 24x7x365 availability of the technology environment.

What You Bring to the Role:

  1. Proficient working knowledge and implementation skills of Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, IPSec/IKE/SSL VPN devices and associated technologies.
  2. Extremely strong troubleshooting skills on network and security platforms; ability to triage multiple, concurrent technical issues.
  3. In-depth knowledge and implementation skills of Palo Alto Networks PA-7000 Series, PA-5200 Series, PA-5000 Series, PA-3000 Series, PA-800 Series running PAN OS 8.X and Cisco Systems ASA5500 Series running IOS 9.X.
  4. Working knowledge of WAN Protocols including but not limited to MPLS, SD-WAN, HDLC and routing protocols including EIGRP and BGP.
  5. Advanced understanding of LAN routing and switching such as load balancing, ACLs, NAC, 802.1x, dot1q, dot1x, and logical & physical network segmentation.
  6. Working knowledge of Hybrid Cloud IP Routing, networking, and Quality of Service technologies with demonstrated implementation in a large enterprise organization (GCP or Azure).
  7. Mid-level certification or equivalent experience with GCP, Cisco, Palo Alto or industry standard (GCNE, CCNA, PCNSA, SSCP or equivalent work experience of 4-7 years).
