About the role

Sodexo On-Site Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a talented Procurement Officer to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic purchasing and inventory management efforts of our rapidly growing organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to support the company's operational and financial objectives
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and securing competitive contracts with suppliers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring the timely availability of necessary materials and supplies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify procurement needs and optimize the supply chain
  • Analyse market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies, regulations, and best practices
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members on procurement-related matters

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the Food Service, transport, or logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain management, and inventory control
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with suppliers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
