We are actively looking for individuals who want to be a:
CLINICAL APPLICATION SPECIALIST
To be considered for the job, here are the qualifications:
- Graduate of any 4 year medical-related course. BS Nursing, BS Medical Technology or BS Physical Therapy Graduate is an advantage.
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Entry without a health allied degree is possible if you have a strong record in sales and business development in medical diagnostic and clinical devices.
- Preferably with hospital experience or experience in a related industry.
- Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create/compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience.
- Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
- Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state driver's license within 60 days of employment.
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
- Coordinates with Business Manager for in-house trainings needed by clients/end users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct product demos and in-service trainings with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
- Ensure that customers including the end-users are properly and optimally able to operate the medical imaging equipment they have purchased.
- Maintain and develop product knowledge on the assigned product.
- Provide technical or clinical assistance during marketing and sales processes.
- Provide ongoing customer support and re-visits clients to receive feedback on the product and their training needs.
- Keep up-to-date on all equipment regulations and safety standards and communicates these to clients and colleagues.
- Re-train clients and colleagues when systems or technologies have been upgraded.
- Prepare and arrange product presentations and all the needed material on the activity.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Identify and resolve client concerns clinically.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate with Business Managers, PSSR's or appropriate company staff to accomplish the work required in order to close sales.
- Help develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock such as promotions and deals offer.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, workshops, conventions, and telemarketing events.
