PURPOSE

The CA Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects including those involving office spaces, office buildings, and warehouses, as well as process improvement initiatives. This role encompasses construction, renovation, maintenance, site upkeep, and operational enhancements. This role requires effective coordination with various units within the organization, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope of work, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for all assigned projects.
  2. Lead and manage project teams, monitoring project progress.
  3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
  4. Develop and maintain project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  5. Assess vendor proposals and ensure alignment with project requirements and budget.
  6. Manage project risks by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation plans.
  7. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, environmental regulations, maintenance standards, and company policies across all projects.
  8. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide clear and concise project updates to stakeholders.
  9. Implement change management processes to address project scope changes and minimize disruptions.
  10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contractors.
  11. Conduct pre-closeout inspections to verify project completion, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with project specifications.
  12. Oversee project close-out activities, including documentation and project handover.
  13. Adhere to the company's project management process and project documentation requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education

  1. Architecture or Engineering graduate, preferably licensed.

Minimum Experience/Training

  1. At least 3 years proven experience in managing projects involving office spaces, office buildings, and warehouse facilities including construction, renovation, maintenance and site upkeep.
  2. Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and industry best practices.

Competency

  1. Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, process adherence, vendor management, and effective time management.
  2. Can effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders including top management, internal customers, cross-functional teams, vendors and contractors.
  3. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  1. Frequent site visits to various locations (construction sites, warehouses, offices).
  2. May be required to work outside of the standard business hours to accommodate project timelines and stakeholder availability.
