Responsibilities:

The Actuarial Analyst plays a critical role in developing and maintaining pricing strategies for products and services. Their responsibilities include:

  1. Applying statistical and financial models to evaluate pricing decisions for new and renewing accounts.
  2. Monitoring performance and making recommendations based on market conditions (industry trends, customer behavior, competitor actions) to determine optimal pricing strategies.
  3. Conducting market research and surveys to gather data on pricing and market conditions.
  4. Collaborating with various departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  5. Providing sales support to ensure invoicing and purchase order procedures align with pricing guidelines.
  6. Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and business acumen.
  3. Ideally with actuary experience or exposure to actuarial work.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  6. The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
