About the role

JAC Liner, Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Animator to join our creative team in our Quezon City, Metro Manila office. As an Animator, you will be responsible for bringing our designs to life through the creation of engaging and visually stunning animated content. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative products and solutions that drive the success of our business.

Job Description

The animator will be responsible for editing and designing animated characters and illustrations that effectively communicate our brand message and engage our audience. He/She must be creative and can work independently and at the same time collaborate with a team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong artistic vision, technical proficiency, attention to detail and a passion for staying at the forefront of design trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conceptualize and develop unique animation characters and illustrations for various projects, including marketing materials and social media content that align with the project's objectives.
  2. Knowledgeable in creating infographics and explainer videos.
  3. Create storyboards, animatics, and prototypes to visualize and refine creative concepts.
  4. Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality animations that align with our brand identity.
  5. Create storyboards, character designs, and background illustrations.
  6. Utilize animation software to produce engaging and visually appealing animations.
  7. Revise animations based on feedback from the team and stakeholders.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance animation quality and improve skills.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as an animator, with a strong portfolio showcasing character design and animation skills.
  2. Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Blender, Maya).
  3. Strong understanding of animation principles and techniques.
  4. Understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and timing in animation and video production.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  7. A passion for storytelling and creating engaging visual content.

  • No need for the candidate to be a graduate student. It's just a plus since many creatives are self-taught.
