Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation. You will also create and manage stored procedures, handle connectivity updates, and oversee various database administration tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Create and manage stored procedures, handle connectivity updates, and oversee database administration tasks.
  • Utilize PowerBI to develop and present insightful reports and visualizations.
  • Apply Python for data processing, automation, and building data pipelines.
  • Present data findings effectively to stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with machine learning concepts and incorporate them into data strategies where applicable.
  • Manage code through GitHub and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering
  • Proven experience in Power BI reporting and data presentation, including developing PBX files, creating dimensions/facts, and using complex datasets for visualizations
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning
  • Advanced Python development skills with a focus on data analysis
  • Expertise in using the Pandas library, proficient in all common functions and operations
  • Advanced understanding and implementation of CI/CD processes
  • Advanced Power BI development skills
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including:
    • Writing and optimizing stored procedures
    • Managing table and data structures
    • Creating and executing complex SQL queries
    • Developing and maintaining views
