Responsibilities:

  1. Validates all inspected electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
  2. Verifies all installed new or refurbished equipment for manufacturing or production plants. Runs tests to ensure that new machinery is ready to be implemented and resolves any issues before the equipment is used on a daily basis.
  3. Determines the root cause of any issues. Must be knowledgeable in troubleshooting problems with various types of equipment, such as hydraulic or robotic systems, and understand why equipment is not working properly.
  4. Uses tools and replacement parts to make repairs to production and manufacturing machines. Conducts regularly-scheduled maintenance on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to keep machines running as intended and to avoid any downtime due to breakdowns or improper operations.
  5. Creates and manages reports pertaining to the repair and maintenance of each industrial machine.
  6. Reports to management to provide records of ongoing issues or proof that machines have been properly maintained, especially if machines need to be upgraded or replaced.
  7. Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; performing basic troubleshooting; requiring preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.
  8. Provides suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
  9. Facilitates the annual Maintenance audit.
  10. Ensures all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
  11. Provides accurate reports on documented forms.
  12. Follows ISO procedures, 5S practices, and workplace/industrial safety.
  13. Serves as the point person for coordination with government bodies, especially the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Qualifications:

  1. Graduate in any Engineering or management course with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  2. Preferably a Licensed Professional Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
  3. At least 2 years of working experience related to ISO 9001:2008 in manufacturing; ISO 9001:2015 QMS is an advantage.
  4. Excellent understanding of all aspects of QMS implementation and documentation.
  5. Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
  6. Strong in building working relationships.
  7. Team player, trustworthy, well-organized, and capable of meeting agreed deadlines.
  8. Must be willing to work in General Trias City, Cavite.
  9. Full-time position available.
  10. Office Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Saturday.
