The Procurement Supervisor leads the expediting team, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and supplies in a dynamic BPO environment. The incumbent collaborates closely with procurement, warehouse, and inventory teams to resolve challenges and optimize operational efficiency. Leveraging extensive logistics experience, preferably from the oil and gas sector, the incumbent drives results and ensures smooth operations. As a senior management team member, the incumbent provides team leadership, works with leadership to achieve strategic objectives, fosters strong vendor relationships, and conducts performance analysis to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads and manages the expediting team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies in a BPO environment.
  • Coordinates with procurement, warehouse, and inventory management teams to streamline logistics operations and minimize delays.
  • Develops and implements strategies to improve expediting process efficiency within the BPO framework.
  • Resolves supply chain issues, including delays and bottlenecks, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Provides leadership, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
  • Collaborates with senior management on strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain and BPO operations.
  • Maintains strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination and timely deliveries.
  • Analyzes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess expediting operations, implementing continuous improvements where needed.
  • Prepares and presents regular reports on team performance, operational progress, and issues to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience managing logistics or expediting teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience as a Logistics Supervisor or equivalent in a relevant industry.
  • Must have experience managing and coordinating with international clients.
  • Proficient in reporting and data analysis using Excel.
  • Experience in the BPO industry is an advantage.
