Overview

ISTA Solutions, an outsourcing/offshoring company, is in search of an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our expanding team. The role involves Medicare/Medicaid billing responsibilities and collaboration with a team that emphasizes employee satisfaction and work-life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures
  • Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing information
  • Follow up on unpaid claims within the standard billing cycle timeframe
  • Contact insurance companies regarding discrepancies in payments as necessary
  • Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances
  • Provide customer support through phone, email, and chat
  • Resolve issues and accommodate customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction with products or services
  • Collaborate with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
Qualifications
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of BPO experience in a Healthcare account
  • Knowledge of medical claims, benefits, eligibilities, and appeals
  • Good working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Amenable to working night shifts
  • Willing to work onsite in Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong
