- Inspects the calibration status of measuring and test equipment to ensure conformity with the required accuracy and precision. Calls the attention of the service provider for uncalibrated or unverified instruments.
Conducts preventive maintenance activities, particularly cleaning, re-tightening of bolts, and others.
- Define optimum process parameters that ensure the highest productivity.
- Make necessary adjustments to processes when input variation tends to change the quality attributes of output.
- Provide root cause analysis and appropriate action to nonconforming products and unmet process targets. Implements actions and verifies their effectiveness.
- Leads in the implementation of GMP in all production staff and service providers.
- Leads in risks and opportunities analysis in the production processes including risk treatment.
Participates in internal audits either as auditor or auditee. Attends to external audits in the root cause analysis and corrective action formulation and implementation.
