MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
- Provides nursing service and first aid to employees who become ill or injured on the premises of industrial plant.
- Takes patients' vital signs, treats wounds, evaluates physical condition of patient, and contacts physician and hospital to arrange for further medical treatment when needed.
- Maintains record of persons treated, and prepares accident reports and insurance forms.
- In charge of the annual scheduling of medical examinations of regular employees and assists physician in physical examination of new employees.
- Develops, implements, and monitors employee programs not limited to health education, accident prevention, alcohol abuse counseling, curtailment of smoking, weight control regimens, and epidemic/pandemic prevention program.
- Accomplishes health-related reports and submits to concerned recipients based on set frequency or as necessary.
- Accomplishes the Annual Reportorial as required by government agencies regarding Health & Safety of employees.
- Provides medical referral for pre-employment and for consultation to prescribed hospital/clinic.
- Ensures that all newly hired employees pass the medical examinations before they are accepted for work. Files medical records of all employees and conducts orientation for newly hired workers.
- Prepares sickness notification / EC accident report whenever somebody files a leave for a minimum of 4 days of absence and submits the same to SSS and follows up the progress.
- Prepares and submits all BIR, Philhealth forms, and SSS benefits claims and reimbursements, and other SSS-related matters.
- Checks the compliance of Canteen Concessionaire to Sanitation Code.
- Prepares Purchase Requisition for health-related items subject for purchase.
- Prepares budget application and/or requisition for medical-related expenses that are subject for approval.
- Coordinates with the Health Care Provider for the enrollment, renewal, and termination of employee's health services benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of Nursing with or without experience.
