Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test ABAP programs and reports in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or other relevant SAP environments.
• Enhance standard SAP functionalities through custom ABAP programming.
• Debug and troubleshoot ABAP code and resolve performance bottlenecks.

System Optimization

• Monitor and optimize ABAP performance, ensuring scalability, speed, and efficiency.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing ABAP code and implement best practices.
• Work closely with functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain) to understand business requirements and deliver custom ABAP solutions.
• Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration between SAP and other business systems.

Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support for SAP applications, ensuring seamless operation.
• Conduct system upgrades, patches, and migrations (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP Cloud).

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming), including reports, enhancements, user exits, BADI, and workflows.
• Experience with components such as SAP Cloud Platform, SAP HANA private Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in SAP S/4HANA and integration with external systems (e.g., APIs, cloud integrations).
• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and SAP Integration Advisor is an advantage.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in ABAP development within SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Experience in integrating SAP with non-SAP systems using SAP BTP tools and services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration in SAP environments.
