Job Overview

The Accounts Management Head leads, guides, and empowers the Accounts Management team, focusing on Project Management, Relationship Management, and Social Media Management. This role is responsible for developing and executing a strategic, systematic plan to drive sales growth for current accounts, ensure efficient project and accounts management, and support team development. The position also ensures seamless coordination between client needs and agency support teams while optimizing processes to improve efficiency and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Revenue Growth & Profitability
    • Drive sales growth and revenue from existing accounts; ensuring that all accounts meet revenue and growth targets.
    • Ensure account profitability by maintaining an average 40-60% margin in all client engagements.
    • Develop strategies to maximize the profitability of each account.
    • Lead negotiation strategies to secure financially viable projects.
  2. Reporting & Performance Tracking
    • Monitor and track account performance, productivity, and profitability.
    • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial performance insights.
  3. Budget Management
    • Oversee budget allocation and financial forecasting for the accounts team.
    • Ensure cost optimization across all client projects while maintaining service quality.
  4. Account & Relationship Management
    • Guide and supervise Account Managers in project execution and cost optimization.
    • Maintain strong relationships with all clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
    • Assist Account Managers in developing upsell/cross-sell plans, relationship nurturing, and renewal strategies.
  5. Customer Experience & Satisfaction
    • Ensure project deliverables align with client expectations and industry standards.
    • Address client concerns and escalations efficiently to maintain satisfaction.
    • Ensure that the team captures and implements client feedback effectively.
    • Implement client retention strategies to improve contract renewals and long-term partnerships.
  6. Process Optimization
    • Develop systems and workflows to enhance team productivity.
    • Monitor industry trends and implement innovative solutions for improved service delivery.
  7. Project Execution & Delivery
    • Ensure that all client projects are on schedule and within budget.
    • Oversee project risk management and address potential roadblocks.
    • Ensure alignment between client needs and agency support teams.
  8. People Development & Supervision
    • Conduct weekly reviews and mentoring sessions with account managers.
    • Lead performance evaluations, coaching, and career development plans.
    • Ensure team members receive training in sales, project management, and relationship-building.

Educational Background and Work Experience:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, or any related field.
  • Have 2 years experience in leading a team on digital marketing or marketing project management work.

Competency Requirements:

  • Produces clear, concise, and structured documents, reports, and proposals. Ensures technical accuracy and readability tailored to the intended audience.
  • Understands and applies fundamental digital marketing strategies, including social media management, online advertising, and campaign analytics. Uses data-driven insights to enhance marketing performance.
  • Interprets data, trends, and key performance indicators to drive strategic decision-making. Applies logical reasoning and structured analysis to solve business challenges.
  • Leads discussions with clients and internal stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. Balances business objectives with client needs while maintaining profitability.
  • Identifies growth opportunities, develops sales strategies, and engages clients to drive revenue. Applies consultative selling techniques to enhance client relationships.
  • Plans, organizes, and oversees projects to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. Coordinates cross-functional teams and mitigates project risks effectively.
