We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js & GraphQL Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing server-side applications and APIs, with a strong focus on GraphQL-based architectures. You will mentor junior developers, ensure code quality, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and GraphQL.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain GraphQL schemas, resolvers, and queries for efficient data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and integrate with client-side applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, and data security within APIs.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and production stability.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and guide them on technical challenges.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js.
  • Deep understanding of GraphQL concepts (schemas, resolvers, mutations, subscriptions).
  • Experience with Apollo Server, Relay, or similar GraphQL implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Must Have Skills
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js.
  • Deep understanding of GraphQL concepts (schemas, resolvers, mutations, subscriptions).
  • Experience with Apollo Server, Relay, or similar GraphQL implementations.
