We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with deep expertise in Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies. In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable network infrastructures across cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and uphold rigorous security standards. This position requires English fluency and the ability to operate within a dynamic, global setting for a prominent client.

Key Responsibilities

Fortinet Network Solutions

  • Configure and maintain Fortinet products, including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
  • Ensure firewall policies, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions meet security and performance targets.

Cisco Meraki Management

  • Implement and administer Cisco Meraki networking components (switches, access points, and security appliances).
  • Monitor Meraki dashboards to analyze network performance and address emerging issues.

Network Security and Compliance

  • Strengthen network security through best practices, intrusion prevention systems, and continuous threat assessments.
  • Adhere to company and industry compliance standards, creating a secure and reliable environment.

Cloud and On-Premises Collaboration

  • Partner with IT teams to support hybrid cloud and on-site network infrastructures.
  • Integrate cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with on-premises networks seamlessly.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

  • Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., FortiSIEM, Meraki Dashboard, Datadog, Nagios, PRTG) to track network health and rapidly isolate issues.
  • Document network configurations, maintain accurate topology records, and provide technical support when required.

Routing and Switching

  • Manage routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and VLAN configurations.
  • Troubleshoot wireless networks and implement best practices for wireless design and optimization.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry trends.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and security fortification.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Fortinet and Cisco Meraki.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fortinet firewall configuration, VPNs, SD-WAN, and security protocols.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Cisco Meraki cloud-managed solutions.
  • Familiarity with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, and wireless networking.
  • Exposure to monitoring platforms (FortiSIEM, Meraki Dashboard, Datadog, Nagios, PRTG).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal communication skills).
  • Aptitude for operating in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fortinet NSE 4 or higher certification.
  • Cisco Meraki CMNA certification.
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of scripting for network automation (Python, PowerShell).
  • Prior success supporting global, enterprise-level environments or clients.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be adaptable to varying time zones, particularly North America, to effectively collaborate with a global client.
  • Readiness to participate in on-call rotations or after-hours support as necessary.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, delivering clear and concise network-related information.
