Job Description

The Core Network and Facility Engineer is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of core network systems and facilities to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves proactive monitoring, compliance assurance, asset management, and collaboration across teams to support projects and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform operations and maintenance tasks (health checks, backups, alarm clearing, troubleshooting, restoration, preventive maintenance).
  2. Oversee the organization's facilities and ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable environment.
  3. Support Engineering, TIER1 and TIER2 teams in projects and issue resolution.
  4. Update site databases using CNFM digital tools.
  5. Monitor and collaborate with support units on building structure, equipment layout, electrical power, and air conditioning/ventilation and ensure site facility system availability.
  6. Monitor network criticality and escalate threshold breaches.
  7. Assist the organization's tangible assets throughout their lifecycle (acquisition, maintenance, operation, disposal).
  8. Assist in tracking and resolving corrective actions for findings.
  9. Monitor compliance with policies and procedures, and document, report, and address non-compliance.
  10. Identify and escalate operational concerns and improvement needs.
  11. Project support involvement; Review TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report) and MOP (Method Of Procedure), participate in surveys and provide input, check and monitor project progress and compliance, participate in acceptance phase.
  12. Participate in trainings, meetings, cascades, and coaching/mentoring sessions.
  13. Participate in supplementary activities (audits, orientations, etc.).
  14. Collaborate and coordinate with other teams for fault restorations, corrective maintenance, and project support.

Qualifications:

  1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Electronics Engineering.
  2. Licensed Electronics Engineers is preferred.
  3. Open to fresh graduates with IT background (Unix, web based HTML, PHP, Visual Basic macro language, Python and Data Studio).
  4. Must be a resident of Tarlac.
  5. Automation and scripting skills is a plus.
  6. IP / IT work experience is a plus.
  7. Good communication skills.
  8. Can work on shift schedule and willing to be relocated within North Luzon (Dau, Cabanatuan, Talavera) if the need arises.
  9. Required membership in a professional organization (if any).
  10. Knows how to drive a four-wheel vehicle and have a valid driver's license.
