Role Overview

PIC - Philippines, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Finance Assistant, a position that is located in our Ortigas Office on a hybrid working arrangement. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, it has primary accountability for timely reimbursement of legitimate claims while maintaining accurate financial records and compliance with company standards.

You Will
  • Review and verify submitted employee expense claims, reimbursements and liquidations and process these in a timely manner.
  • Audit claims to detect and prevent errors, duplicates or fraudulent submissions, based on audit guidelines of the business unit.
  • Process various expense allocations and prepare proposed journal entries.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records and documents for audit purposes; support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Generate reports related to expense claims, as requested by business units.
  • Handle expense related matters during month-end closing and audit.
  • Engage in other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required from time to time.
  • Communicate with employees to clarify policies, resolve discrepancies or request missing information.
  • Provide relevant training to employees, as needed.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications: (required)

  • Graduate of Accounting or related course.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in Expense management under a computerized accounting setup.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Excel.
  • Average skills in the use of MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to adopt hybrid work setup with work hours of 10am to 8pm (2nd and 3rd week of the month) and 3pm to 12am (1st and 4th week of the month).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounting certifications an advantage.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft D365 an advantage.
