He/She will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS 15 standards, monthly invoicing to respective banks as well as performing end-to-end reconciliation of ATM transactions, identifying discrepancies, and working to resolve them efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

IFRS 15 Compliance: Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with IFRS 15, ensuring accurate revenue recognition for contracts with customers. Maintain and update accounting records to reflect IFRS 15 adjustments, ensuring alignment with contract terms and performance obligations. Collaborate with other departments (Recon, operation and RIS) to ensure accurate contract reviews and revenue recognition processes are followed.

ATM Transaction Reconciliation: Review the reconciled daily ATM transaction activity, ensuring all revenue related to multiple partners like Visa and Mastercard are accurately recorded. Investigate discrepancies between transaction reports, internal records, and bank statements related to ATM activities. Coordinate with banking partners and internal stakeholders to resolve transaction issues promptly. Prepare and present monthly reconciliation reports for ATM activities, prepare and get it approved monthly invoicing adhere to contracts with respective banks.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annually financial reports, ensuring IFRS 15 compliance and reconciliation of ATM transactions. Analyze discrepancies or variances in financial data related to both IFRS 15 implementation and ATM reconciliations. Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue recognition and ATM transaction reconciliations.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in both revenue recognition and ATM reconciliation processes. Recommend solutions to enhance accuracy, reduce errors, and streamline reconciliation workflows.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and recon teams to ensure proper systems and controls are in place for tracking and reconciling ATM transactions. Provide training and guidance to other team members on revenue recognition principles and ATM transaction reconciliation.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 principles and revenue recognition processes
  • Proven experience in ATM transaction reconciliation or similar banking operations
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, GAAP and reconciliation procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high accuracy in financial reporting
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
