Main Purpose of the Role
The Field Sales Manager is responsible for driving the achievement of sales, distribution, coverage, and execution objectives within an assigned territory. The role focuses on leading distributor operations, developing field sales capabilities, and ensuring the effective implementation of commercial strategies
Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of territory growth strategies to achieve sales, distribution, and market development objectives.
Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness, customer coverage, and operational execution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners to support sustainable growth.
Drive excellence in field execution by ensuring consistent implementation of sales strategies, programs, and standards.
Analyze business trends, market dynamics, and customer insights to recommend actions that improve performance.
Coach and develop field sales teams to strengthen capabilities, enhance productivity, and achieve business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support commercial initiatives, customer engagement activities, and business planning.
Ensure effective use of resources and adherence to company policies, processes, and compliance standards.
Lead regular business reviews and implement action plans to address performance gaps and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance within the assigned territory.
Qualifications
Proven experience in managing distributor partners and field sales operations.
Strong background in sales leadership, territory management, and commercial execution.
Experience within the FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or related industries is preferred.
Strong analytical, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Willing to travel within assigned territories as required.
