Job Description
  • Administer and support backbone servers like Active Directory (AD), Domain Name System (DNS), Microsoft Exchange Server, Domain Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Server Virtualization, Windows Servers, and Linux Servers;
  • Ability to assume ownership, accountability, and leadership to a given task;
  • Modify and update user account information, mailboxes, and internet accounts upon request and approval;
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the system by monitoring, maintaining, and providing support to district office (DO) servers to ensure high availability and acceptable levels of system performance;
  • Respond to issues, problems, and concerns escalated by Customer Care and other support groups related to systems administration function in a timely manner;
  • Possess a high level of patience and professionalism when working with other employees;
  • Isolate problems and collaborate with other support groups or Sr. systems administrator for proper action;
  • Provide assistance in recovering files and databases from workstations or servers that have encountered hardware or operating system problems;
  • Submit reports required by the department manager or management (Weekly, Monthly, or ad-hoc reports);
  • Conduct troubleshooting (ad-hoc technical team member for onsite isolation of abnormal behavior of the system);
  • Administer and provide support to Interconnectivity projects;
  • Compliance with Stradcom policies like conduct, dress code, absenteeism, tardiness, etc.;
  • Perform other job-related tasks that may be assigned by immediate superiors from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or any 4-year IT-related course
  • At least 2 years of experience as a System Administrator
  • Knowledge in administration and maintenance of Win 2000 Active Directory Environment, Linux, Web Applications (e.g. IIS, PHP, and Apache)
  • Knowledge in Windows Operating Systems such as, but not limited to, Windows and Linux
  • Preferably someone with knowledge in Cloud
