Position Overview

We are looking for a Collections Specialist who is a skilled communicator with a passion for resolving financial challenges and helping customers find solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service while recovering outstanding balances.

Responsibilities- Customer Outreach: Initiate inbound and outbound calls to discuss overdue accounts and payment options.
- Account Analysis: Review account histories to assess balances, payment status, and reasons for delinquency.
- Negotiation & Resolution: Negotiate payment arrangements with empathy and professionalism.
- Payment Processing: Manage payment plans according to company policies.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of interactions, agreements, and updates.
- Compliance: Ensure activities align with regulations.
- Customer Support: Address inquiries, resolve disputes, and prevent future delinquencies.
- Reporting: Generate reports on collection efforts and account statuses.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry best practices and participate in training.
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months experience in collections, billing, or customer service
- Understanding of collections and billing procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle challenging conversations professionally
- Proficient in CRM and collection software
- Typing speed of 45+ WPM
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Goal-driven and motivated
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Customer-first mindset
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the country
- Willing to undergo background/security investigation and drug screening
