Finance and Admin Manager
Pasig City, Metro Manila

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning
  • Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Develop financial and tax strategies.
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
  • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
Operations and Admin
  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and admin team.
  • Manage any third parties to which finance or admin functions have been outsourced.
  • Oversee the company's financial transaction processing systems.
  • Implement operational best practices.
  • Oversee employee benefit plans, with emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
  • Supervise admin works and maintenance.
Finance
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information. Review and approve disbursements and invoices.
  • Report financial results to the board of directors.
  • Manage payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with Government Offices (BIR, SEC, DOLE, Philhealth, PAGIBIG, SSS).
Risk Management
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
  • Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
Funding
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts.
  • Arrange for debt and equity financing.
  • Invest funds and pension funds.
Third Parties
  • Maintain banking relationships.
  • Represent the company with investment bankers and investors.
Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with finance regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
