  1. Act as the Resident Engineer for a specific project.
  2. Inspect works of the contractors and sub-contractors and prepare monitoring of all the works (Civil, Architectural, Structural and MEPFS).
  3. Review Construction Plans.
  4. Evaluate billing of contractors.
  5. Coordinate with all contractors and ensure the quality of their work.
  6. Work effectively as a team member and/or independently.
  7. Multi-task and work under pressure.
  8. Manage projects by maintaining operations and enforcing project and operational policies and procedures.
  9. Work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  10. Be available for assignments on high-rise or mid-rise projects (inside/outside of Metro Manila).
  11. Be capable and qualified, or have the potential and willingness, to work in a supervisory capacity at the assigned project site.
  12. Assist and interact with all project stakeholders (contractors, workers, regulatory bodies and inspectors, owners, consultants, etc.).
  13. Read and interpret contract documents and construction plans and specifications.
  14. Effectively manage project team members; must be organized with problem-solving, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  15. Supervise construction and provide quality assurance that completed work complies with the plans and specifications.
  16. Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project.
  17. Act as point of contact; coordinate directly with the general contractor and negotiate change orders.
  18. Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and design.
  19. Discuss deviations from specified construction materials and procedures with the Engineer-In-Charge.
  20. Regularly review and approve contract submittals and payment applications to contractors.
  21. Participate in contract close-out activities.
  22. Conduct regular progress meetings with the contractor and appropriate personnel, reporting on any issues as necessary.
  23. Perform civil engineering and site operations management functions for planning and actual construction and site development of low-, mid-, and high-end residential subdivisions and commercial buildings.
  24. Depending on the exact role and project assigned, the job may require construction quantitative accomplishment appraising, quality control and audit, working plan analysis and review, workflow and equipment utilization planning, S-curve interpretation, and/or selected property management functions.
