We are looking for a dependable Motorpool Associate who can support vehicle maintenance, perform basic mechanical tasks, handle general services and errands, and assist in the canvassing and purchasing of vehicle parts and supplies. The Impact You’ll Make
As our Motorpool Associate, you are not just supporting vehicle operations—you are helping ensure that our fleet remains safe, roadworthy, well-maintained, and ready to support daily operations.
- Support Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company vehicles.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance: Assist in routine servicing such as oil changes, greasing, battery checking, tire inspection, and other preventive maintenance activities.
- Assist with Mechanical Repairs: Support repairs involving brakes, clutch systems, steering, suspension, engine components, and other basic mechanical systems.
- Monitor Vehicle Condition: Conduct regular vehicle checks and immediately report defects, repair requirements, or safety concerns.
- Handle Parts Canvassing and Purchasing: Canvass, purchase, and coordinate the procurement of vehicle parts, tools, and other motorpool supplies.
- Support General Services: Perform errands, bank transactions, document processing, and other general service activities related to motorpool operations.
- Coordinate with Suppliers and Service Providers: Assist in coordinating with suppliers, repair shops, and service providers regarding vehicle parts, repairs, and maintenance requirements.
- Maintain Records and Documentation: Assist in preparing purchase reports, maintenance records, and liquidation documents for motorpool-related transactions.
- Provide Driving and Transport Support: Safely operate both manual and automatic vehicles for authorized company errands, vehicle movement, parts collection, and other transport-related activities.
- Maintain Safety and Proper Upkeep: Ensure that assigned vehicles, tools, equipment, and motorpool areas are properly maintained, clean, organized, and safe for use.
Who You Are
We are looking for a hands-on, reliable,and resourceful individual who can perform both mechanical and general service responsibilities while supporting the daily operations of the motorpool.
- Educational Background: A graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in automotive servicing, mechanical work, motorpool operations, general services, purchasing, or a related field is an advantage. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Licensing Requirement: You possess a valid driver’s license with appropriate restriction codes for the company vehicles to be operated.
- Automotive Knowledge: You have basic knowledge of vehicle parts, mechanical components, and basic automotive systems.
- General Services Experience: Experience in errands, purchasing, general services work, or bank transactions such as deposits, encashment, and check handling is an advantage.
- Purchasing Skills: You have the ability to conduct accurate and efficient canvassing and purchasing of vehicle parts, tools, and supplies.
- Technical Skills: You have basic knowledge of vehicle inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Documentation Skills: You have basic knowledge of preparing purchase reports, maintenance records, and liquidation documents.
- Digital Skills: You can use mobile applications and basic computer tools for communication, monitoring, and tracking.
- Core Strengths: You are dependable, safety-conscious, organized, physically capable of performing hands-on work, and willing to perform fieldwork and other motorpool-related tasks.
